Went fishing out at the Russian River for the opening weekend. It was great fun and so peaceful. Our small group leader were camping down at the campground. The were showing me the ropes about where to fish and how. Luke Merriner set me up in a good hole and I caught two of my three fish in about 6 hours. Sunday Jeremy joined me, although we didn't catch anything, it was a beautiful day and time well spent. Saturday night we had a whiskey tasting around the camp fire. It was very revealing. The unanimous #1 was the Knob Creek Whiskey. Again, time well spent with good people. I think we stayed up till about 2am that night. It was incredible to see how bright it was even then.
